GICA 1: Blog Setup
Hi! My name is Wilmer Acosta-Florez, I'm an english major with plans to work for online publishers (slate, edge, NYT magazine) to provide original, editorial and journalistic content aimed at a mass audience. My main passion is film and all the elements that blend together to make up the film. Someday I hope to achieve a pie-in-the-sky dream of mine to work in film production, preferably in some creative capacity. I love to read--fiction/non-fiction-- and write, as well as play the saxophone on my spare-time(yeah-right) and looking to finish school entrenching myself in subjects that are dear to me. Admittedly my experience with professional/educational technologies is slight but I'm willing and able to learn. I've dabbled a fair amount in more user-friendly applications(word, pages, blogger, tumblr) and am familiar with many of the popular social media sites like facebook, and twitter.
